Aperçu

One Jet, Swept — Not One Point, Spun

A sweeping jet nozzle uses the high-pressure fluid flow itself to oscillate a single coherent jet across a fixed arc. It produces a continuous moving line of impact without any internal rotating parts — unlike traditional rotary turbo nozzles that spin a point jet on delicate bearings.

How It Works

Inside the nozzle, incoming flow enters through a fixed internal fluidic oscillator geometry. No mechanical parts turn, meaning 100% of the pump’s hydraulic energy is directed into cleaning impact. The jet exits as a fast, coherent stream sweeping across a 30° arc.

01

Alimentation

High-pressure water enters through the G1/4″ internal thread at 60–200 bar.

02

Oscillate

The fixed internal geometry forces the jet to oscillate automatically without rotating components.

03

Sweep

The jet sweeps across a 30° arc, peeling contamination off the façade in a single direction.

Why It Matters

Why a Swept Jet Suits Drone Cleaning

Nothing Rotates

No rotor, bearing, or seal inside. Eliminates mechanical seizure, wear, and periodic teardowns.

Squeegee-Like Action

Cleans directional strips as the drone moves, avoiding radial splatter from spinning points.

Full Hydraulic Energy

Zero pressure loss driving mechanical rotors; maximum impact force directly on the target surface.

Any Orientation

Operates identically pointing forward or downward over horizontal rooftops and solar panels.

No Gyroscopic Load

No rotating mass means zero rotational torque or gyroscopic instability transferred to the drone flight controller.

Stainless Steel Build

Corrosion-resistant surgical-grade stainless steel engineered for continuous high-pressure outdoor operations.

Notes opératoires

Not a Rotary Turbo Nozzle

No moving parts inside. The jet oscillation is purely fluidic; do not attempt to disassemble or lubricate.

Pressure Threshold

Requires minimum 60 bar to establish the swept spray pattern. Never exceed the 200 bar safety maximum.

Universal Compatibility

Fits any standard G1/4″ male pipe fitting, including WasherDrone SkyLance M400 lance kits.

Drone Thrust & Reaction

High-pressure water jets generate directional recoil. Calculate reaction force in your payload and flight pitch budget.

Orifice Maintenance

The orifice is the only wear item. Inspect regularly for debris and replace once the spray coherence degrades.

Pump Flow Matching

Ensure your ground high-pressure supply unit delivers sufficient flow (e.g. min. 9.5 L/min per nozzle at 200 bar).

FAQ

Foire aux questions

Is this a rotary turbo nozzle?
No. A rotary turbo nozzle spins a point jet on a mechanical bearing. The SweepJet Turbo Nozzle has no rotor, bearing, or seal: a fixed internal geometry forces the water itself to sweep across a 30° arc. There is no rotating assembly to seize or wear out.
What is the working pressure range?
60 to 200 bar (~870 to 2,900 PSI). Below 60 bar the fluidic oscillation will not establish properly.
How much water does it consume?
Flow increases with pressure: 5.20 L/min at 60 bar, 6.71 L/min at 100 bar, and 9.49 L/min at 200 bar. Review the technical flow table above for exact numbers.
How does it connect to the drone lance?
Through a standard G1/4″ internal thread. It is directly plug-and-play with the WasherDrone SkyLance M400 manifold.
Does it work pointing downward?
Yes. Because there are no centrifugal or gravity-dependent spinning rotors, the nozzle performs identically in any orientation, including straight down over rooftops and solar panels.
What is the blue sleeve?
A durable polymer sleeve that cushions and shields the stainless nozzle body during transport and operation. It comes standard on the “With Sleeve” package and can be purchased separately.
How heavy is the nozzle?
Only 96 g for the bare nozzle (54 × 22 × 18 mm), keeping drone payload weight to an absolute minimum.
What material is it made of?
Full stainless steel, engineered for resistance against continuous high-pressure industrial chemicals and outdoor exposure.
How many nozzles can be run simultaneously?
This depends entirely on your ground pump station’s flow delivery. Divide available pump flow rate by the nozzle’s consumption rate at your target operating pressure.
